The principle of Scholarship is the cornerstone of who we are as an organization and as a sisterhood.

We support young women seeking higher education to advance themselves and their local community.
Phi Delta Zeta Chapter gives away thousands of dollars through the 5 Pearls Scholarship given out annually.
To be eligible, you must reside in one of these Connecticut towns:
Manchester, Stafford Springs, Willimantic, Norwich, Bristol, New Britain,
Bloomfield, Windsor, East Hartford, Hartford
To continuously promote the principles of the organization, the Phi Delta Zeta chapter of Zeta Phi Beta
Sorority, Incorporated will provide a scholarship to selected young ladies who are high school seniors, who
demonstrate financial need and scholarly distinction.
To be considered, an applicant:
● Must be a female graduating senior attending a high school in one of the 11 towns listed above;
● Must be attending any community college or 4-year university in the fall of 2025;
● Must demonstrate financial need and scholarly distinction;
● Must submit two (2) letters of recommendation from any of the following: a guidance counselor,
teacher, church official, community service supervisor, mentor, or employer;
o Letters of recommendation may not come from any family member.
● Must submit an official high school transcript reflecting your cumulative grade point average;
● Must submit a completed application by February 12th 2025 at 11:59 pm (application must be received on
or before this date);
● Must review the “7 Tips for Completing the Application”
